Merry Christmas everyone! For Christmas one of my relatives gave me a $100 dollar bill but it was from 1985, I was thinking it was worth something especially after I looked at the serial number. It's nearly the 750000 bill made which is low I think... I don't know im more into coins not to good with the bills. Alright so my scanner wont work... and its Christmas don't want to be on too long so the serial number is B 007542## B (so the government wont sue me :) and its in pretty good condition... if it was a coin I would grade it AU 50! Do you think I would get any extra money for it? Thanks Jason

    Merry Christmas to you too!

The B-B block of 1985 $100 has a print run of 99,200,000. The relatively low serial number in AU might get you a few dollars over face.

CH CU is about $150 book value. Probably $110 to $115 in an auction. AU might be worth $105. Unfortunately auction fees and shipping costs will eat into any possible premium.

I hate to say it, and I'm sorry to do so, but your bill holds really no premium beyond seller fees and shipping costs, if you plan to sell it on eBay. You'd be better off just spending it at face value to get something you've been longing for.
