Mercury Dimes

    I have a good idea what constitutes a Winged Liberty dime that has wear to the point it is considered junk...but...

    What is the cut off point?……F12? VF20?...I’m not talking about a 1916-D in G4...just common...Spark

    The common dates basically go to melt in xf/au, especially the later dates. Slightly less common is more like VF and very few have numismatic value at F or lower

    For me, I don't consider anything junk per se but AG's and below from the 40's would be junky. Common AG dimes in general. If silver was 50 dollars an ounce I would probably change my tune a bit.
