I sent myself an Email of the photo of the reverse, but it has not shown up yet. Based on the this photo what do you think the grade is of the obverse.

    The year is 1940S:

Needs to be straight-on so the entire coin is in focus, and it might help to have different light. From this shot, I can't tell whether it's been harshly cleaned.

The photo was taken with bad artificial lighting.

Can we get a photo of the other side as well?

Note: That is a hair trapped inside the holder, not a scratch.

That answered my first question. :)

I don't see any obvious signs of harsh cleaning or wear, although it's still a bit hard to tell from the photos. That reverse shot is quite good. It's not a full-bands strike, but it looks like it has plenty of luster.

The bit of toning around "L" and "I" on the obverse makes me think it's been dipped (as does the overall white color). Nothing that would keep it from grading, I'd think.

I don't think it would be worth submitting -- it would have to be a candidate for MS67 or MS68 to justify that -- but it looks like a nice BU example to me.

Based on what I can see, it looks MS-66 though it's hard to say that with much confidence based on the obverse image. You should get that hair out of there as well. The oils from the hair may unfavorably react with the coin over time.

Once the hair is removed, make sure that the staples are mashed down, so they will not scratch other coins in holders. Nice coin. The pictures could be closer for more details.

Yeah I would say about a 67. Great coin!

My initial thought was an MS-66.
