Okay, so I was at one of my LCSs today and picked up this. I noticed the blob on the reverse and bought it because of that. I think it might be a cud, but I really have no experience identifing these sort of things. Also, do you think there would be much of a premium because of it? I was figuring it might be a dollar or two extra, if authentic. So what do you think?

I don't know what it is, but it is definitely not a cud. You can still see the inside perimeter line of the rim. If it were a cud, the rim (or part of it) would have broken away from the die.

    Perhaps a die gouge, then?

Looks like a solder mark to me. Maybe it was once a stick pin and the pin has since been removed. It's not a cud.

It doesn't appear to be a CUD but I am not to sure ask to what it is. But I believe it to be some sort of PMD.
