Mercury Dime 1941S RPM, RPM 5? Cherrypicker? Hey everyone, I haven't posted in quite some time but I do need a bit of help. I found this Mercury Dime RPM last night and I am trying to attribute it. It is a 1941S. The secondary mintmark is to the east. The only information I could find on a possibility was from Coneca's site with their master listings. From their list # 4 was the only RPM listed for 1941S where the secondary mintmark is to the east. I have the old 1983 RPM book but it only shows pictures for RPM 1 and 2 for this date. And my coin is a little too circulated to see the Coneca die markers. Does anyone have a picture of a 1941S Mercury dime RPM 4 that we can compare to this picture below?
Thank you for you comment ikandiggit! After doing some research, I'm thinking it is actually RPM # 5 which is in the cherrypickers guide as 1941-s/s FS 502. I don't have this cherrypickers guide but I found this link with these photos: http://www.arsave.com/variety_resource_dimes Pretty sure I have the right attribution now. RPM 5 not 4. The mintmart placement matches.
