Haven't been doing much during April etc, but this weekend I decided to go all out box hunting dimes. Going around town and got 7-boxes of dimes to keep me busy this weekend. I hope I can recoupe the low numbers for the month, and finish with something worth while. Will post results when finished. HH, DozerD
What a bummer hunt. Of the 7-boxes, two were brand new 2017', of the remaining 5, I got : 0,2,2,2,0; for six Rosie's. My numbers for April were a mere 29-Rosie's from 29-boxes, avg of only 1-per box: for 2.1oz silver. Not very impressive, but I've had worse months.
It's a shame not many people do Roosie books... if so I'd part those '17 rolls out on the bay to make up for lost efforts.
Man... I get sooooo bored going through dime boxes... you're a braver man than me... Got one not too long ago on a whim (my half box didn't come in) and found all of one 1964-D, and only 3 2009-Ds, along with a handful of 1982-1983 dated, and 1969 Philly coins... I spent like four separate days doing that box! I'm doing much better finding silver dimes via CoinStar... this beauty appeared today!
