I got this with a small, mostly British, mix of coins. It is about 18mm on the long side and .7g. Any thoughts on where it might have originated? Thank you
I'm going to bump this just in the hopes I catch someone who might know something about it. I'm not getting anywhere on identifying it. And I am really curious about it
tis not british, maybe livonian but i am not sure but it is definitely not british the head is far far too crudely designed.
Thank you I sent a photo of it to a British metal detectorist I know and he said much the same thing. I just had someone tell me it is Punic but he has never seen one like it before. There is a three lobbed? design on the reverse that I took another photo of - now it is on the top left...also another pic of the obverse fwiw.
