Medieval Hammered Silver? Half a coin.. any ideas?

    I got this with a small, mostly British, mix of coins. It is about 18mm on the long side and .7g. Any thoughts on where it might have originated? Thank you :)

    I'm going to bump this just in the hopes I catch someone who might know something about it. I'm not getting anywhere on identifying it.

    And I am really curious about it :)

    moneyer12 i just love UK coins.......

    tis not british, maybe livonian but i am not sure but it is definitely not british the head is far far too crudely designed.

    Thank you :) I sent a photo of it to a British metal detectorist I know and he said much the same thing. I just had someone tell me it is Punic but he has never seen one like it before.

    There is a three lobbed? design on the reverse that I took another photo of - now it is on the top left...also another pic of the obverse fwiw.
