Medieval coins

    Here are a few coins I am struggling to identify,

    The Edward penny at the top left looks quite unusual and I think there is a star around neck

    Can anyone help me?

    Hi Frank,

    I think people are unwilling to put too much effort into these as they are in such poor state. Even if nailed down, no one is going to want them much in their collection, and each coin may take hours of research. Get a copy of the Spinks Year book, and you will probably get a reasonable idea on each.

    The only one that looks more interesting is the bottom left - appears to be an English shield, but not a design I recognise. The obverse is so bad though...
