    hello together,

I don't know if someone around here has a clue from medieval German coins, but i just try my luck..

This one was found in Baden-Württemberg, should be Silver or Billon and looks like one side minted..but I'm not really shure about that, even if I brought them Pictures in the exact position..

I know, it is a little away from the States..so I think "pigs might fly" for this one. ;)

    kind regards,

    Niloc

Medieval Germany is one of my weak spots. If the reverse were clearer, maybe...

Not a whole lot there to judge on, but I recommend ALWAYS supplying size and weight data to help identification.

I cant really make it out, but it looks to me like a French coin. Compare http://home.eckerd.edu/~oberhot/fp3bg.jpg
which is not the same coin, but displays a similar altar design on the reverse
and is a Gros Tournois from Louis XI (1226-70).

Hope I'm not sending you on a wild goose chase.
