Hey everybody. Got a quick question have any of ya seen or heard of a grover clevelend special edition meddalion? It has a bronze colored plating. Any info will be appriciated thanks. ;.) Pennyman
Yes - there are many. No idea which one you are referring to so try this site - http://politicalbadges.com/collection.htm
Is it gold plated or are you sure it's bronze? I can't imagine any reason to plate something in bronze, it's cheap enough to make the whole thing of bronze. How about that picture?
re: meddalion How exactly do ya post pictures on this board? give me some info so I can understand it and I will post a picture Pennyman
Re: medalions Well bill I would but i'm not sure how to post it i'll have somebody here try to help me. Pennyman
Pennyman, If you need help with hosting your coin images, email them to me and I'll put them up here at CoinTalk.
Hey peter thanks alot i'll scan them some time this next couple of days because I have been very busy. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! pennyman
The medal depicted was a part of a Presidential Medallion set, probably offered in the 1960's through local gas stations as a premium similar to those later Aluminum medals from Shell which we all remember.I've had many of the medals in this set over the years and find them regularly in the local flea markets.Current value is minimal, about $2.00 in BU condition.Yours is probably worth about a buck.Hope this helps.~ Jim 8)

Medallions from Gas Station as Popular Numismatics In the summer of 2000, Sunoco ran a series of US Presidents, Truman through Clinton. I bought gas there to get the coins and completed two sets. (See http://www.coin-newbies.com/articles/sunoco.pdf). I have an interest in Space collectibles and there was, I believe, a Shell series (probably more than one) and when I see them in dealer junk boxes, I add to the "accumulation," hoping to make it a "collection." Anyone else?
