Great find, @galba68!!! I really like that type of obverse legend. And I love me some middle denominations.
I wish i could be in England right now finding these types of coins! Nice finds!!!! I wanted to ask you galba68 , what kind of machine do you use?
Mine is a different reverse an not as nice. The patina breaks sugest it is a dupondius. Congratulations
noah, believe or not, I use WAVE A2 plus, bulgarian metal detector, and 6 years ago cost me about 250 dollars..it find countless roman coins, 6 golden coins, artefacts..very easy to use..if l buy a new detector, l will not sell this one..l will put it on the wall..and say- THANK YOU..!!!
I wish I would have had one of those when I used to hike the Lancashire/Yorkshire moors with my grandfather eighty years ago!
I know that the US Garrett's are good and so are the white's metal detectors, but overall garrets are the best in the us. That is pretty cool how you bought that for 250 dollars!
