Yeah, I'm trying to squeeze in as many boxes before June 1st as possible too. Gotta get my silver total over 9 ounces so May isn't worse than March/April :(

9 ozs is good, I'd be happy with that each and every month. I look forward to seeing everyones results and if you can let us know how much searching had to be done to obtain the results.
    I'll do the same
    Thanks

I only searched 6 boxes this month but I'll share my results

    3 nickels- 2 wars, 1 buffalo, 4 2009
    2 pennies- 20 wheats
    1 halves- 2 NIFC's

As you can probably tell, I only have 1 pickup and 1 dump bank

My results were very poor IMHO.

    $14,560 searched = 5.3282 oz
I had to search $2732.63 to find each oz of silver

I going to break it down a little further and give you the numbers from my local and regular banks, they did not treat me well at all...

I had to search $4400 from my local banks to find each oz of silver. That is down right pathetic. I hope June turns out better, if I did sell the silver I think it would just barely cover the cost of gas spent while out dumping and picking up. Factor in the time and I'm losing big time. Good thing I enjoy it, but it's alot more fun when you find more silver.

    Here's mine:
    Quarters: Washington x4
    Dimes: Roosie x45, Merc x4, 1899 Barber
Nickels: War Nickel x18, Buffalo x11, 2003S Proof, and a 1939S upgrade for my album
    Pennies: Wheat x107, Steel x1, 2000 WAM, and a 1907 Indian Head
    Halves: 90% x2, 40% x17, and a 199S Proof
And 69 Ikes (no rare varieties). Also got a bronze/brass Jefferson commemorative medal of some kind, on top of a boatload of foreign.

This month was decent, although not as good as March/April. Total silver found was 8.5893 ozt out of $15,054.50, so I'm still pretty happy!

Were those quarters from rolls Atreides? Or reject tubes? The only silver quarters I've ever seen in the wild were in teller trays.

    Only 1 was from a roll :(

I have found only 9 Quarters in rolls (mostly BWR, but I think 2 were from CWRs), out of 1234 rolls this year

Wow! I knew quarters were bad but I didn't think they were that bad!

Yeah, not really sure why I still search them. Mostly I get 5-6 rolls with the other rolled change I get every day, I still need a few upgrades for my state quarter album and I think I'm missing a denver Gettysburg. For a while I toyed around with 1 box of quarters per week but aside from a nice streak of 5 quarters in the 3 days leading up to my birthday back in march, it didn't work out so well.

Maybe in other areas it'd make sense to up quarter volume in the hopes of finding one, but quarters are so highly circulated around here that I don't see the point.
