Massachussetts 1¢ & ½¢ Restrikes - Tatham Stamp & Coin

    I read briefly that Tatham Stamp & Coin minted re-strikes of the Massachusetts ½ Cent and Cent coppers during the 1950's.

    I did a bit of searching, but didn't come up with much information.

    Does anyone have any information on this?

    Yes. I just recently saw them. They look a bit too cool. That's why I'm doing a bit of research into them. Nothing is mentioned in Breen's about them...

    Fortunately I see that neither can be attributed to Ryder plates. That said, it worries me that an inexperienced collector could come along and not realize what they're buying...
