I realize it is not the best picture but the extra raised part has the print over top of it. Does anyone know what kind of error this would be called?

Yes.. It's called a Non Mint Error

Coins are struck not printed.. Paper Currency is printed. Where exactly do you see extra letters?

Based on the one photo, the
    coin has enviormental damage
    to the surfaces.

I see no error, and no extra letters.

Maybe another photo or two, with
more precise wording on what we
    should focus on.

May be this one is better. It's like there was metal underneath the strike.

Now I see it - the raised 'bubble'

It's due to the heating of the coin,
    after it was in circulation.

I could see the damaged surfaces,
but not the bubble, in the first posted photo.

It's not an error, but has been altered by
    heating the coin.

Looks like a bubble that formed underneath the clad layer. That happens when extreme heat is applied to the surface. Not a Mint Error.

Well, I just learned that I can't depend on the accuracy of the post time. The first time I looked, Fred's posted 46 minutes ago and yours posted 44 minutes ago (two minutes apart). Now, when I look at it, there is only one minute difference between the two posts.

If you can figure out how to set it 24 hours in advance, I'll gladly go halvesies on the Powerball with ya.
