Masonic "pennies" (coins) are not usually dated.

Some have the year or date the lodge was founded.

This is a "Masonic Penny", made for members of the Berkeley, California RAM Masonic lodge.

The date on the token, April 18, 1906, was the date the lodge was founded, which happened to be a rather significant date in the city of San Francisco, where the Grand Lodge was having a convention.

More likely a token than a coin...

    Coins have monetary value.

    No
I have seen and have one.
This one is one only a head master would have.
The engraving on it is not like any token I have ever seen. Should have been on him in.his grave.

If by significant you mean a major earthquake and fire consuming major parts of the city and over 3000 dead, then yes it was significant. They refused to cancel or postpone the convention.

The last one looks like a generic brass token.

Some are worn, very worn, from being carried around by members as pocket pieces.

    This one is very worn:

The date engraved on it could be the date the original owner was raised as a Master Mason.
