From what I learned this token was given away at Houdini's Magic Shop in NY. Is this right? Both sides are the same and this token is very small. Latin phrase means, "The world wants to be deceived, therefore deceive it".
You are right.It's actually a saying ascribed to Petronius (27-66AD) and was used by Houdini.The Martinka shop/museum still sells souvenirs with this token's image on it: http://www.cafepress.com/martinka
