    This morning's CNN Tech Gallery.
    The NASA Curiosity Rover uses this for calibration. (I should have known it was posted here at least twice before...)

    Hey, I hadn't seen this before.

    Pretty sweet. If Curiosity runs into a Martian thug with a ray-gun, he'll at least have something to cough up.
