    Hello everypeeps - totally new to this site!

    Please can you help with a value for this Maria Theresia 1780 thaler
    mint condition, is it possibly a restrike ?


    Others I have seen are not as defined in the detail - this coin was handed down in the family etc.


    I have had a brief scour for info and found this site with soooo many knowledgable people !!

    Maria Theresa Thalers have been minted in the millions over the years by many different countries. Wikipedia has a good article to get you started. They sell on ebay for about $25 for Unc
