- Their payment process had some issues, but after a retry it worked. Overall the site worked fine.
- The set went to back order after about 20 minutes. My guess is the site switches the item to back order once the initial inventory supply is met in CART. Once the supply chain is met with verified orders it will go out of stock. My guess is the back-ordered item will ship in June and not August.
Pretty sure you're not charged until shipped/processed, but that might have changed, too.
You did a great job mint. Let the haters hate.
I don't know that they weed out that many. Obviously, they do the ones at the same address. But, the professional flippers have ordered many from friends and relatives.
Otherwise, how can they sell out in 20 minutes?
By the time I receive mine they'll be selling on Ebay for $40 bucks or less.
I ordered mine yesterday and it's backordered but my CC already was charged. Still showing backordered today.
I found the ordering process to be a whole lot easier than the crash and burn days of 2011!
As for not having enough product available? That could literally be anything that goes into the shipping of these sets. From COA, to packaging materials, to the fancy printed boxes these go into! All these items are manufactured by subcontractors outside the US Mint and any one of them could be the problem in shipping.
I don't blame the US Mint.
Congrats Ken. Impressed with the Mint on this set. Website worked great. Coins shipped next day. Hoping that the coin quality is just as good!
