March of Dimes Proof Error - NGC Certified Struck Through

    I saw this today on Ebay - I think I saw some threads on CT not too long ago about some Struck-Thrus on some of the March of Dimes coins that people purchased.
    You can also get them slabbed! ;)

    Cool, I got a few of these and thought they were nothing but problem coins - maybe they'll do something. I thought someone posted they thought the strike thrus were wires from a wire brush used to clean the die.

    That type of "Struck Through" is as common as dirt and certainly not worth the value of the grading fee's much less $200.

    I wonder how many are out there? Half of my W dimes have a wire embedded in them, mine are all on the reverse.
