As the inscription says, it is about "400 years Netherlands-Manhattan" relations. In 1609 Henry Hudson, working for the Dutch VOC, landed at a site which is known as Manhattan. The Dutch edge lettering is GOD ZIJ MET ONS (God be with us). Can be found on every €2 coin, and on those collector coins too. Christian
