Man made or mint error

    1. I have a 2015 quarter with the head chopped of the gooses neck. Don't know if it's mintt error or man made

    Thanks. I thought so too but when I looked at over run of tree trunk( see picture. It looks exactly like the object that slices the old goose

    That's a wild turkey, not a goose. And a deep gouge across the neck and into the fields on both sides - damage.

    A Ring Neck Pheasant with two rings. Usually they have one ring but two is very unusual except on a coin and that’s damage. You can see metal pushed out on both sides of the area in question.

    Oops, I should have checked Numista instead of believing the first search hit. Numista says it's a pheasant.
