I wanted a nice coin calendar, but I wanted to choose the coins for the months. I found a nice photo page template here for openoffice/word. http://www.calendarsthatwork.com/calendar.php?calendarId=monthPAp1 and added my personal photo to make January. Printed out nice, but the file is 450K and can't post it as a paperclip. I used my 55/55 Lincoln as the January photo. Now to decide which photos to use for the other months. Jim
Great Idea! Wouldn't it be nice if the mint issued a yearly calander of upcoming products as well as some historic products. If done tastefully it would be a nice gift for the holidays! Thanks ~ Darryl
post your January coin Thank you desertgem. Perhaps everyone could post their January coin. I'm still struggling with my January selection but I'd like to see your 55/55. Very best regards, collect89
Collect89, Here is a photo of my 1955 DDO. I made a large photo in case anyone wanted to use it for their calendar. I give my permission for non-commercial use. Does anyone have a nice 1909-SVDB or 1922 no D type 2, that I can use in my calendar? I am thinking about having a few printed for my coin club for the Christmas meeting. Maybe next year, the Forum could make up a calendar of member's favorites and print them. Any professional printers around?? Also attached my 31-S if anyone wants to use it. Jim.
no - but anyone can use any of my coins photos for non-comercial use if they want to. http://www.mrbrklyn.com/coins/ Ruben
Actually you can't really copyright a straight photo of a coin, but I release all non-commercial rights anyway
That's for the link, I went there and now I'm stuck......can't decide what image to use. I have so many I like. Maybe I'll make a collage.
I'm only suprized that www.coppercoins.com hasn't made one of those yet. Since he has taken thousands and thousands of photos of coins. I usually get a gun one from the NRA each year, car ones from friends, Animals from the WWF and a stupid one from our town council of our town. A coin calendar would be different.
