Magnetic error coins ??????

    Check out these old coins that are usually sold as error coins because they stick to a magnet as shown in one of the photos NO 1.jpg NO 2.jpg NO 3.jpg .

    They're counterfeits.

    EDIT: I didn't read it properly; looks like you already knew they were counterfeits.

    This really sucks that these foreign companys are allowed to legally make copies of our own coins. I thought I may be able to help someone by helping them to be able to watch out for this type junk. these companys also make perfect copys of our copper coins plus there are lots of really good counterfeiters right here where we live. this forum is a good learning tool , I wish I would have had a computer around 50 years ago when I first got interested in coins. back around 35 years ago all I had was a few error coin magazines from F. Weinberg where he had errors for sale and I communicated with him and J. Wexler thru the US mail.

    Was it stamped copy/replica when you received it?
