About 6 months ago I purchased a lot of coins for several hundred dollars (a comlete set of unc franklins). While I pondered how to go about flipping them I received orders to go halfway across the country. So I took several sets of coins with me when I went. Last Saturday I took the set of coins around to several dealers and got some figures on how much they would give me for the set. I ended up making 60% profit on the whole set. Sure I could've put them on the bay and made more than that, but the hassle of paypal only and shipping and etc. more than outweighed potential profits. Now I've freed up money to re-invest and I am going to try it again!
