    This is from my Godchild.
A few months ago I gave her 12 year old Son some coins, and she sent me
    a message in Facebook today.

Hey, just wanted to share a story with you....Tuesday Tyler was at home watching Pawn Stars on tv and he came running in my room with the standing liberty quarter you gave him. I think it's a 1927...can't remember exactly what he said but it was somthing like this "MOM!!! They just had a 1932 standing liberty quarter on pawn stars and it was worth $3000!! I have this 1927 one that your godfather gave me! I bet it's worth even more!!!" He was SOOOO excited. LOL Made me smile. Thanks for sharing with him. [IMG]

I think he may be getting hooked. lol

I'm willing to bet a 1932 Standing Liberty is priceless since there are none. That must have been the coveted 1932 D Washington Quarter he saw on Pawn Stars.

    But cool story nonetheless.

Man, that's awesome. I'm trying to get my daughter interested in the hobby. She helps me sort through rolled cents from the bank and she has few silver certificates. So if anything, she has some momentos.

I think I saw that episode. They found out the quarter was counterfeit. It was a real 1932, but the mint mark was faked.
