Checking through my coins and found this. Looks like some kind of machine doubling. I am new at trying to grade a coin. Checked Wexler's pictures and a few others, but could not find anything quite like it. Any info would be helpful . Thanks.
You need to take it out of the plastic holder to get a better true image. Or is it a PCGS slabbed coin?
A 1966 SMS holder. Very hard to take good pictures. I have studied this for quite sometime. It almost looks triple. I have several different pictures with different views, if you need more. Thank you for the reply.
Not positive, but I leaning towards machine doubling. My reasoning is that the doubled letters look too flat to be a true DD and I can't see any notches (maybe the "I" but it might be a stretch)
