For a bill to be considered a "Lucky 7", does it have to start with at least three 7's or can it end with them?
The official BEP Lucky 777 notes started with triple 7’s. Generically, I guess triple 7’s could be anywhere.
It's whatever you want it to be. I would call it an almost-almost fancy serial number because it still needs a couple more 7s to be an Almost Fancy Serial Number (which only occasionally seems to have value on ebay) and five more 7s to be fancy
Bureau of Engraving and Printing advertises Lucky 7 notes as, "a serial number beginning with no less than three number 7s in a row." But many feel that three or more 7s together in a serial number is considered a "Lucky" note.
