Lovely Great Britain 1887 Victoria Halfcrown, Raw and Prooflike

    I finally got to see this coin in hand, and took some pictures that only are barely showing it off. It was grimier than pictures show so conserved with a bit of acetone. Victorian silver and bronze from the 1840s through the reign come very prooflike, and the issue confused by actual specimen and proof issues with the status of many up for debate. This coin is not a proof though.

    I only wish these photos could show it better and will likely slab it for protection
