I have seen several posts here about love tokens. Is this one? The "coin" has reeded edges and is about the size of a dime. If this is one, I am assuming it has no value unless those are your initials?
Yes I would consider this a love token. The coin (likely a dime) has also been elongated and affixed with a bail. Too bad the unengraved side is not readily legible. It definately has collector value, IMO.
Nice love token! I have three, one that my dad bought as a kid, an 1883 Argentina 10 Centavo coin, probably from a gaucho. An 1830 English convict love token with a very meaningful poem, and one with a date 1876 engraved and a nice clasp that I posted yesterday night on here. Yours is very nice, too bad about the coin not being recognizable, but it is definitely a love token. Probably worth around $10 to a collector, maybe even more depending on who likes it.
Yes it's a love token ,a dime as others have stated, value yes no matter what it has value depending on what someone will give you for it....if they happen to have the initials on it probably more. Google love tokens I'm sure you'll find a site that pertains to collecting them.
