Maybe I will save up this year and buy the real deal. In that I would love to have the Liberty Head $10 Eagle! Don't know if I want the slap down all my doe on a gold spousal coin? The reverse isn't doing anything for me, however the mintage is insanely low!
For now, this Buchanan Spousal Medal is freaken beautiful!!!

All are great just wish they would use them on the ASE or AGE

Are you serious! I was a little ahhh about using an Air-Tite, and you have people slabbing these things? As the mighty Stossel would say; GIVE ME A BREAK!!!

Dealers must only pay like a dollar to slab, cause how else can you justify slabbing a 5 dollar booze metal? WAIT I SMELL OF COINVAULT!!!

I like the idea of putting Liberty on the bachelor medals. It gives the mint opportunities to use some of the forgotten, yet beautiful designs once again. My wife collects these. It's too bad these are one of the items the mint is significantly raising the prices on this year.

The FS medals look really nice in the Whitman album. I'm still waiting for Dansco to come out with an album; perhaps they will have slots for all the medals...unlike the Whitman album.

I bought the 2007 limited edition Proof and Unc 4-coin boxes from Mr. Ceravone (Joe) with the idea of using them to present the FS Gold Liberty series. I had to buy 2007 capsules so the coins would fit into the boxes (the capsules changed shape beginning in 2008).

I bought the capsules, but don't know what I did with them! Well, in the meantime, someone else had the same idea. Here's their picture (proofs) of what I'm trying to do. As soon as I can find my dang capsules, I'll post up my pictures...I think it's a pretty nice display. :thumb:

It seems that Chester Arthur will be the last President to have a liberty head. Is it going to be the same one as for Buchanan? They say that the liberty head had to be part of the circulation in the years that they served.

    That would be correct.

I think that one will be of Alice Paul (women's sufferage advocate)...dunno why.
