Has anyone else noticed the large number of lots that are not selling at the heritage coin long beach auction ?.. especially the commeratives....... I watched a few of these over the years,, and there are a k-ton of auctions that aren't getting the 1st bid and falling into heritage's post auction buy it now listing....
what cha' ya'll think... Folks finally realizing that the market is no longer supporting crazy premiums set by auction houses,, or is this normal for Long Beach, and Californian's setting California reserves that are waaaay inflated in the overall U.S. market ?
... I mean there appear to be at least 100 or more lots with no bids at all....
.... which tells me a lot,,,,, I once heard that if I ever found myself on a poker table and didn't know who the sucker was, then it was probably me... wonder if that applies to those winning these coins. Prices, as Orlando FUN, are simply nuts..... geez,, anyway, back to the 'bay I go, and search for real people (collectors) selling coins are real prices.

I think it may still be the economy bug! or people just trying to squeeze a little more out
Of there coins but then again people may not like what,s being offered there are several
Reasons or may be a combination of them!

Everything I am watching is going - only a few at high prices. Hoping to win 1 - been outbid on a few coins, but nothing I had to have.
