I had this trade dollar that I was using as a pocket piece, trying to diminish the affects of a cleaning. About six months ago, it just disappeared. I figured it was gone for good, and had visions of it dropping out of my pocket, and getting plowed over on the farm, or someone picking it off the ground in town. Yesterday I pulled a box off a shelf in the basement storage room, and it clattered to the concrete floor. I never put it there?!?!?!? I'm too busy to play with coins much right now, but it made my day. Anyone have a similar story? Or a pocket piece to post?
if it is still a pocket piece you might want to get a 38mm airtite plastic case for it. what mint mark does it have ?
