I did buy a 1912 canada $10 gold to go along with this bag but when I got it in hand it was super baggy and market up and looked AU so I returned it. Hoping to find a nice MS63 or MS64 1912 piece to go with this. It's one of the original bags the canada bank hoard was in before it was released. The bag was also supposed to be a 1912 and the seller sent the wrong bag so there is a 1912 bag like this on the way now too, also pictured.

Just posted this today, but it deserves reposting...what is the smallest coin ever struck at a United States mint?

Entry post. 3,4,2,1. Who doesn't like a contest? CT is the best. I don't contribute to the forum mainly due to my very limited computer skills. Plus I am still new to this hobby. But I have learned a lot from you more skilled collectors. Thanks for the birthday wishes also.

Another improbable foreign coin box find is this one from November of 2017. I apologize for the poor quality cellphone photo. The coin pictured is a 1711 Great Britain Shilling I found at the Jacksonville winter coin show. This coin was found in a pile of foreign coins being sold 5 for a $1 haplessly laid out at the end of a dealer's table. That being said the same pile yielded several other decent coins including an 1858 Hungary 1/4 Florin to a VF 1823 Great Britain Farthing and a host of colonial Jamaican pieces.

Thank you Lord M, and @Santinidollar and @Nas.
If I'm lucky, this being my birth month, I'd go 3,4,2,1.
I just won this auction for the most expensive coin I've ever gotten.

    1913 S type II AU53 obverse.jpg

    1913 S type II, AU53 reverse.jpg

The coin is raw so the grade AU53 I assigned may be off, but photo comparisons seem to match.

Let us see the coin when you get it. GS is reputed to take cosmetic photos.

Fantastic! Congratulations! Great cherrypick. I've always had a thing for Queen Anne coinage.

Gotta love those juicy pick bins, eh? :)

The cat is going down, as one can tell by looking at the slightly protruding "lip" along the edge of each stair riser. Those would only be seen at the front of each riser, rather than the tops of them. But at first glance, I thought it was going up. Neat photo.

This is my "entry post" (whew !) for the March 2019 Giveaway, by those divinely generous donors. - My choices of preference are - 1, 3, 4, 2. - Sherlock Holmes, having peeped into your old-timey collections of coins, allegedly coined this phrase - "It is a capital mistake to theorize before one has data. Insensibly, one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts."

@Bert Gedin - from the first post: if you put the phrase "entry post" into more than one reply, you will disqualify yourself. I know that there sometimes are server hiccups or similar issues, but you may want to edit some of your posts here ...

(And @lordmarcovan - this is a technical comment, so even though it includes the e-term, this should not result in disqualification. ;) )
