    Thanks @lordmarcovan for contest. I really enjoy reading all the links you provide with these coins. Only have one or two given to me by my uncle. Still a novice so I haven’t collected the ancient coins but truly enjoy the history of the coins. Following the links leads to so much more interesting history.

    I've decided to work on a little project my kids would probably call "An ancient for an ancient". Maybe this contest will finally get me to the dark side. Thanks to LordM for a great giveaway.

    Nice earthen patina on that one!

    There’s just one ancient left in this contest after this one. We’ll go back into the BC era for that (Round 12).

    But even if y’all don’t win this coin in Round 11, or the next one in Round 12, there’s another big multi-round contest coming up in Giveaway #80… and all seven of those rounds will offer the chance to win an ancient Roman coin from a batch I bought from Germany earlier this year!
