    So now we come to...

    ROUND 7.

    The prize for this round is a...

    United States: bronze 2-cent piece, 1865

    Numista-2296. The color indicates this coin had an old cleaning at some point, but if I remember correctly, it is a little bit more natural-looking in hand. These lighting in these photos might have exaggerated the orangeness of it a little bit.

    The two-cent piece was the first United States coin to feature the motto "In God We Trust". This particular example was struck in the final year of the Civil War.

    To enter this round, all you need to do is:

    1. Say that you want it, and
    2. A word or two about why you want it or what you like about it.

    Then, sometime after 24 hours have elapsed, we'll do the drawing and move on to the next round.

    Or you may of course say you want it for someone else, if you name that person.
