LordM Giveaway #125-A (pick your prize- Drawing #1) Contest status: OPEN Drawing: pending; on or after July 1, 2025 Winner: pending Shipping status: pending Winner's receipt: pending Hello, everyone, and welcome to the latest giveaway. This will be another one of my "pick your prize" contests, so you can hopefully win something you'll like. AND... since we did not have a contest in May due to my long absence, there will be TWO winners drawn in this contest! So it is really two contests in one! Your one entry will make you eligible for both drawings, though you can only win one prize pick. Essentially you'll be entering one time, but will get two chances to win your chosen prize. LordM Giveaway #125-B (pick your prize- Drawing #2) Contest status: OPEN Drawing: pending; on or after July 1, 2025 Winner: pending Shipping status: pending Winner's receipt: pending To enter: 1. Go view my Giveaway Gallery. 2. Post an entry here, stating which prize you would prefer. 3. State why you chose what you did. NOTE: That last bit is important. To qualify, you have to not only pick a prize, but also say WHY you picked it. Just a few words will do. However, if you are entering on someone else's behalf, you are not required to pick a prize or say why. Your designated proxy will get to pick their choice later, if your entry wins for them. Your prize choice need not be final. I do periodically add new prizes to the Giveaway Gallery, so if you win the drawing, you'll be given a chance to change your mind at the end, if you see a new prize you like more. I just enjoy reading everyone's initial selections up front, since it gives me an idea of what folks like. Click the pic below to go to the prize gallery. The drawing will be done via random number generator sometime on or after the date mentioned at the top of this post. The timing will depend on my schedule. You may consider the contest open for entries until such time as I have posted the final result of the drawing. Totally free: the contest is free of charge, open to everyone, with free worldwide shipping. The only further requirement is that if you win... Please post a receipt in this thread after you get the prize, so we'll know you got it (that helps me keep track). Good luck! Numismatic regards, ~Robertson ("Rob") Shinnick ("LordM") ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ LordM Giveaway archive This contest is brought to you by little Dora, our latest rescue kitten. She should be the Fancy Feast spokescritter, don'tcha think?
Yes. Dora deserves an audition for becoming the Fancy Feast spokescritter. For the contest I would like to have Kaisa (sic) be my proxy.
Entry post. That Greek lion is still out there, and I still dig it! Remember, I'm a Leo! Here's a tiger to go along with that lion ......
Entry post: Please enter me for the 1967 Canada Set. The Goose Dollar and Wolf Half Dollar are such nice designs. Thanks for the contest!!!
Thank You for this contest. Nice selection of prizes. I choose the: Japan (Edo Period): ca. 1835-1870 coin. My wife collects foreign coins, but lost interest a few years ago.(medical issues zapped her energy) I'm hoping that this coin might revive her interest again.
Entry post for @expat . Hopefully he'll win soon. Thanks for the contest @lordmarcovan . Your genorosity is above and beyond!!
I would love to have that Kennedy incomplete planchet error. It would go well with my straight "clip".
I would like to enter again for the Canadian Silver round with a wolf. I like wolves and I like silver! Thank you!
My entry post: I'm still banking on the luck from some 4 leaf clovers (thank you @Elizabeth Shamblin ) to get me another win. If picked I would want to bring the 1945-S Omaha Hoard war nickel back to Omaha to a place of honor in my hoard. Welcome back and thank you @lordmarcovan, you were sorely missed.
Entry post - I would also like the 1967 Canadian PL set. Why? My original collecting interest was Canadian George VI era but I also purchased some late 50s PL coins back when I had ebay fever. Never got any of the 1967 designs so this would be a nice addition. Our 18 year old Newman loves the Fancy Feast boxes and any box for that matter. Hope Dora is your best buddy for years to come.
