My wife likes the Lord of the Ring coins, I know that this is reason enough to buy them, but do you Guys think they will ever become a main stream collector coin ?

I agree with the info,,, although they are a pretty coin at least some of them are, I cant see them ever really gaining anything beyond the original buyers.

I guess twenty or thirty hours of overtime is a small price to pay for domestic bliss.

You've actually got a wife that would be interested in the Lord of the Rings?!?! My wife would be asleep in about 10 minutes!

Ernie You dont know the half of it, Ive sat through all of the movies at the movies, Ive sat through all of the movies at home,a couple of them two or three times, she has bought all of the coins so far, the royal mint sent her a nice wooden ,velvet lined box to display them in,

But try to get her to help me seach a few hundred Merc's not a chance !!!

She sounds like a cool chick. My wife's show is "Sex in the City". It's funny the first time you watch it but after three episodes you've seen them all. It bores me to tears now. I've tried to get my wife into my coins but she can't even pretend to be interested. It's always like "yes, honey, that's pretty".

Keeping a spouse happy is a very little price to pay. If she wants a Lord of the Rings coin, by all means buy it. She could be asking for diamonds. :D

My wife is a pretty cool, Lady !!!!

She has bought them all,, and registered with the Royal Mint so they just send them as they come out.

Diamonds,,,She doesn't have to ask !!! Those are my Idea,, Ive bought and sold loose gemstones for years !
