    We already have a few correct guesses, and at least one person found where I had previously posted about the mystery coin here on the CT forums!

    So the final outcome will be decided by random drawing out of the finalist pool sometime on Friday or shortly thereafter.

    It's harder to collate entries from PMs to do a drawing. I figured more than one person would guess the answer and this one would end up being an easy sort of "open-book test".

    No worries. The winner will be chosen in a random drawing from those who posted the correct answer, regardless of how they figured it out.

    I'll make folks work a bit harder in the next one. Wanted this one to be easy (a giveaway to mark my 40th anniversary and share the story).

    You didn't miss it. It's still going on. All you have to do is post the answer to the (now ludicrously easy) question. We'll be having a random drawing after Thanksgiving.

    I'll try to make the next one a little bit more challenging. ;)
