Hello all, I am still new to coin roll hunting and have probably only been through 25 boxes give or take a few. I am able to get any amount of boxed coins I want, the catch is that they all come from Loomis. Has anyone had any good finds with them? I have heard that some facilities sort the silver.

Matters where you are. My Loomis boxes are either 1999P or 2001D uncirculated halves for the past couple months. I don't buy from them any longer.

All the halves I have searched have been from the early 70's onwards , mostly marked. I average about one silver dime per box of dimes and have yet to find a war nickel. I am in the south east.

I am in the south east also. I got my first loomis box of dimes last week and got a 1942-s Merc in it. Got 2 Wars in the loomis box of nickels from the same day. I've gotten a war in each of the loomis nickels I've picked up. Just picked up another box of dimes and nickels a few minutes ago. Will update after the search

dimes are a bust... entire box is uncirculated 2012-d.Ii got this box from the same bank that I got the Merc out of last week. The nickels might produce, they don't look all new, but definetly not as old looking as my other boxes

    Loomis box of nickels produced: 2 Wars (42p, 45p), 24 x pre-60, 3 foreigns.

I went back and cashed the unopened 2012d loomis dime box in and went to my other pick up bank. They gave me $250 in CWR dimes to look through. Bout to start them now.

We have Loomis at Wells Fargo in NC and their boxes suck big time. At least around this area I live in they do. Real bummer.

Just finished a box of nickels. Found my first war nickels. Wow...
    Also found 24 1940's excluding the silver, 12 1950's, and 1 1939.
