It's a small spot that took a hit. If you look closely you can see that there is metal pushed up on the lower left. It kind of resembles a P but it's not. Welcome to CT.

Welcome Aceishi!! Always go to have new members! As said before, this is just damage but I see where someone could think there was an extra letter on the coin. It's just not possible for that to happen during the minting process which means it is damage!! Keep looking, you'll find something some day!!!
