B12,this actually looks Iranian.I can say that this is defintely not one of the 'Fighting Cock' 1 Keping coins from Malacca. In fact,I don't think that it is a coin.It could be a Now Ruz (Iranian New Year) token.

Dang!! You missed it by one day. I had three billion of these setting around for years, but noone ever wanted them, so I threw them all away. The garbage man just took them this morning. Sorry!

Damn so close too, heh. OK, I'll settle for one that someone would be willing to part with.

It Looks Like A Twisted "minangkabau" , 1

Keping. I have 1 keping of Minangkabau of Sumatera , Indonesia. The name on the photographed coin is spelled incorrectly/

Giladzuc, the Menangkibau Kepings do not have a rooster on them at all.The obverse has 'Menangkibau' in Arabic, whereas, the reverse has 'Satu Keping' (1 Keping) & the AH date in 3 lines.Menangkibabau is located in Sumatra,as is Aceh.

I have 'Minankabau : Satu Keping' coin .That coin has not

a picture of a rooster as you said. I tought that the photographed coin is an unlisted coin. As for the location , I visited Sumatera island. I was not very far from the Minangkabu region. I learned to read Malay / Indonesian also in 'Arabic' letters. I have also 9 Aceh coins , 5 are of gold , 1 of silver , 3 of tin.
