Hello all, I have been putting together a portfolio on NumisMaster.com of all the world coins I have. I was wondering how I should go about selling them. The dates range from 1800's to 1970's, with most of the coins from 1940-1970. Is there any websites I could post it too (portfolio) when I am finished? I want to sell the whole lot of coins for one price. I prob have over 300 coins so it is going to take a bit to finish. I don't really wan't to sell on ebay, so that's why I came to my friends on cointalk for advice. Thanks for the help, Tommy

I think you are going to have a very tough time selling that collection as a unit to anyone but a dealer like Littleton, or one of the others who advertise that they buy entire collections.

Of course you could list them in the Open forum here, but to get any interest you will have to post a link to a complete inventory, specifying the ID and condition of each coin.

    Good luck!

I agree with hontonai. I see dealers at shows selling coins like that at shows, mostly in bulk. I'm sure if you found one of those guys they might buy your coins, but probably for a very low price.

i love ebay, give ebay a shot. people buy up lots, or collections in your case like crazy! i cant tell you how many bidding wars i have been in and lost on sets, or lots of coins. it wont cost much to list and its worth a try. i think.

Ebay is the only answer here.
