    I am trying to find a 1914 $5 or $10 and $20 for at or under $120.00.
Do you guys have any idea to where I could get one for
    around that price range?

    Thanks Mike

they can be found, especially the $5, in the price range... but i doubt the other 2 can be found, even in rag condition, in that price range. This is why i have the $5, and not the other 2 lol

Ebay, Auction House like Heritage, and then the multitude of smaller shops around the net like the one RickieB mentioned.

One good point to make.. if a member here recomends a shop on the net... its because we have done lots of business and/or the seller is a very respectable dealer in the hobby.... that kind of recomendation cant easily be beat.

good luck :) and if you can find the notes in your price range, please post pics so i can be jealous lol

    Hey guys,
Thanks for the recommendations on the notes. I have collected coins for
a few years and am now starting to collect currency.

    Thanks Mike

    Mike...

Blue Seals are realitively still affordable. Always go for the best you can afford! Just words of wisdom for ya.....
Heritage Auctions is good as well. Gem's in any of these notes will run you 350.00 on up depending on the denom. The $50 and $100 are the most expensive!!

And as Daggarjon mentioned, Mr. Kelly is a well respected Dealer. It has taken me years to nurture a good relationship with him, be nice and professional please, especially if you use my name.
    Thanks..

    RickyB,

Thanks for all of the helpful advice on currency.
I think I will focus on the later large notes and some
    of the early small notes.

although i agree with RickieB 100% that you should always get the best you can afford... i rarely follow through with it :) if you ever look through my site, the vast majority of my notes are the lower end of the grading scale. As much as i love the look, feel, and yes, smell of the Gem CHCU notes.... i cant afford much, if any, of them. I am very happy with my rag-tag ensemble of notes :) (nothing against those with the CHCU notes, lol)

just remember, ugly notes need love too :D
