Can anyone help with some ideas of the obverse legend, please?
(or even the reverse legend? Not a 'Fel Temp'.)

Looks barbarous to me, too. The eye on the obverse looks particularly strange.

However, I have found that sometimes corrosion can make a legend on an official issue look like gibberish, too. Parts of letters disappear, leaving fragments behind, and blobs grow out of areas that were originally flat. If I have a few beers and really use my imagination, I can almost make out T _ _ S P F A _ _ on the right side, suggesting that the obverse legend was at least intended to mimic D N CONSTAN-TIVS P F AVG.
