Using my copy of "U.S. Civil War Store Cards" by George and Melvin Fuld, 2nd Edition I think you have a OH535A-8a token. The Revese in your pic does not have the 1224 design which is a Shield overlaid with a banner reading UNION, and legend curved around the top ONE COUNTRY. I think your Reverse is the 1084 design based on the central figure and star placement. On the obverse I can't quite make out if the comma after ALBRIGHT is missing, but the 4 stars on each side do show clearly thus my conclusion of a 525A-8a. In Bronze, Plain Edge it's a R4, and in Copper, Plain Edge an R2. Fuld notes two other Reveses paired with the 4 stars on each side Obverse, those of 1089, star layout doesn't match, and 1130 that has a Winged Mercury image. Anyone else see what I'm seeing?
I thought it was the 1084 reverse also but it didn't say there were other varieties.I will defer to your info.,and expertise.I only have a couple of CW tokens and have just started gathering.
Coinprez, Rulau's catalog is virtually worthless for identifying Civil War Store Cards. Only the most common variety is listed for each merchant. Fulds' U.S. Civil War Store Cards is a much better reference.
