So we're doing our family gift trade and the person I drew actually collects coins- slightly. He only has some proof and mint sets with an occasional Silver Eagle.

The spending limit is $25, but I wouldn't mind spending a few more dollars to get him something nice. I don't want to get a worn out coin that he's not going to care about, or something so new that he's seen one in circulation before(he's in mid 20's)

I was thinking of a BU 40's Walker or a BU Mercury Dime...

Anyone have any other ideas or know where I can find something within this price range? Wouldn't mind getting another person in the family involved in coins!

A choice uncirculated Franklin, or common date Morgan would be nice.

They make any coins out of coal lol just kidding I'd say a decent common date Morgan or peace dollar you can sometimes pick one up in xf-au for $25-30 and I haven't met too many people even non collectors that don't like silver dollars

Went with a Peace Dollar for $27, I figured it was a big coin and people seem to like the bigger coins. Now I'll just see if it gets him more involved in collecting.
