I decided to get a little more invested with the coins so I am in need of information pretaining to what I need, where to find it, and how much should I expect to pay for a scale to measure grams, ounces, troy ounces for gold and silver coins. I am not looking to open a store, I just want one for home use to test/confirm my online or in person purchases. Thank you for your time.
You can get the type of scale you need at a gun store that sells reloading supplys. (they're not cheap) You can convert our common weights (grams, ounces) to Troy by using a conversion table. If you need the link to the conversion table, let me know.

check out www.amosadvantage.com they have a great little coin scale. It is the Acculab Pro 250. It weighs in grams, ounces, and pennyweights (troy ounces). They are $150 retail, and $125 for Coin World subscribers.
