I bought these 2 beautys yesterday. I grade the 1928 P AU and the 1880 CC MS 63. The 1880 is the overdate just in case you were wondering. The luster is much better in hand on the 1928 and the color on it is fantastic. I couldn't get a really good photo of the color for some reason.
They are very nice coins. i think you may have a vam on the 80 morgan, i don't know what vam it is but i tlooks like a die chip under the eight as i indicated with an arrow. The vam you have is Vam 3 dash under 8 . I looked it up cool coin Here;s a vam site to check out www.vamworld.com Jazzcoins Joe
It is a VAM 6 late die stage I believe. The CC is the smaller type and there is all of the die markers associated with the vam6, but who knows. I know this...it is one very nice 1880 cc.
Look what walked in yesterday!! Reply to Thread Good going Tdec! Both are beauties. Morgans have been my favorite silver coin since the first one I held. jeankay
