I recently learned of the passing of Rlmcents. Haven't logged in here in years. GDJMSP, miss ya buddy. Is this new news or am I just out of touch? Carry on
Saw that Dick hadn't posted since March, had wondered where he was. I always found him friendly and thoughtful. He'll be missed. Good to see you AJ.
I knew something was wrong when he didn't answer PMs. Dick and I always meet at the ONA show each year. He didn't show, this year. His Lincoln Cent collection was really special.

Jack buddy - that goes both ways ! I've tried to contact you several times with no luck so I'm quite happy to see ya visiting the forum. And while I wondered because I knew he had his troubles in the past, no I did not know about Dick, very sad news indeed. He will be sorely missed, but never forgotten !
His presence on the forum was encompassing with his knowledge and directness. I do appreciate the information as whenever I heard of weather problems there in Oklahoma, I thought of Dick. He had come through many medical situations. May he rest in peace. Thanks Jack! So good to see you back again! Time seems to loop here on CT. About once a year, I think back and say to myself, Should have bought that 1909VDB from AJ when he offered it!! Hope you stay around more! Jim
Terrible news. I couldn't bring up his profile, and finally figured out that all this time I'd been reading his name as "rim's cents". Silly that I never once caught on during six years of learning from his posts. RIP, RLM.
I was chatting with Dick one day about the different forum sites. I ask why he didn't post on a couple of other large coin sites. I'll never forget his answer. Short version. "CT has the most amount of threads and folks that are interested in Lincoln Cents." Dick had a mission and loved this hobby. Anyone that would like to learn how to grade Lincolns should search his GTG threads that went on for years. You had to learn from every thread. I'm happy I was here at CT to live it.
Man, he sent us all through the wringer with those! I remember he even kept score of how we were all doing for a time. To add to your point about how great those threads were, I took considerable breaks from this forum throughout the years, but the one thing I'd try to do every so often was go through his profile and find his recent GTG threads and read through them. That's about all the CoinTalk I had time for during those years, and it was time well spent every time.
